Deal: Ryzen 7000 series gets surprise price cuts in India! Updated prices and details here
After recent reports of surprise price cuts of the AMD Ryzen 7000 series in the European market, the Indian region seems to be receiving them as well over the past week. Within just 2 months of the launch of the new AMD processors, the prices have dropped as much as ~Rs 10,000 for the highest-end Ryzen 9 7950x. Below are the updated prices compared to the launch prices of the respective chipsets.

As seen above, the Ryzen 7600x seems to have received the biggest price cut of ~16% now making it priced much lower than the Intel 13th gen i5-13600K (Rs 30,580) while offering similar gaming performance. With the availability of relatively affordable B650 Motherboards in the market now, the Ryzen 7600x might just be the midrange processor to look out for if your primary usage is gaming and you are looking to upgrade to the next-gen DDR5 ram-based platform.
However, with that being said, if your usage involves productivity-based workloads, the Intel i5-13600k offers significantly better performance (+30% on avg.), particularly in multi-threaded applications that can make use of its extra cores.
It is likely that AMD might be lowering the retail prices of the existing Ryzen 7000 series CPUs in anticipation of the currently rumored 3D V-cache variants of the Zen 4 processors which may be launching as soon as next month at the CES 2023.
